I know the build-up, the butterflies, the bittersweet countdowns — and the magic of that first hug. I’ve felt it as a kid, as a spouse, and even while serving as a Navy Ombudsman, helping plan homecomings for entire ships and the families waiting on the pier.

That lived experience is why this work means so much to me. I don’t just show up with a camera — I show up with a heart that understands.

When I’m not behind the lens capturing the moments you’ve dreamed about, you can find me enjoying a local coffee, hanging with my dogs, or out at the barn with my horse. I’m also a huge Disney fan — because I believe in magic, both in fairytales and real life.

Yes, we’ll get the beautifully posed portraits. But I specialize in capturing the emotion in between — the unspoken connection, the tearful smiles, the quiet hand-holds after months apart.
